seriously, if you haven’t seen this film. see it. i haven’t been this emotionally affected by a film and a performance in it since…since…since. yea, i dunno the last time. ms. mo’nique KILLED that role! yes, i now call her MS. mo’nique. there was something so unapologetic and unreserved about her performance. i didn’t see a millisecond of hesitation. there was no mo’nique, only monstrous ”mary jones”. it was phenomenal.
