has it really been a month since my last blog entry? my bad. not that i’m assuming anyone is waiting with bated breath every morning to hear from me, but i don’t like to slip on my pimp. so, i’m back.
in an attempt to make up for lost time, i’ve included some pics of what started my semi-sabbatical, a cross-country road trip that reinstated my permanent (or as permanent as my nomadic blood can be) residence on the west side. over the last year i’ve split my time between coasts, living out of suitcases and racking up frequent flier miles. speaking of, how the hell do i not have a free flight yet? i must be doing something wrong. anyway, i’ve been in a state of transition, and while that’s usually where i’m most comfy, lately, it’s been taking it’s toll on my blogging mojo. so, now that i’m an official LA-er. well, not totally official. still voting and paying car insurance as a floridian. commitment issues? no. well, yea. but i figure florida needs my vote a little more, know what i’m sayin’? i’ve gotten off track here.
the point is, it’s a new month. my apartment is looking less like a cardboard box factory and more like a place of residence and i’m starting to feel settled. so, i’ll do better. although, i still haven’t figured out the layout of my workspace, so there’s a distraction/excuse waiting to happen.
happy november, folks!
